Comforts of Italy housing is available both to exchange students who are looking for housing independently, and to students coming to Florence through organized study programs that work exclusively with Comforts of Italy.

If you're a student or intern looking for housing in Florence on your own:
You can start the process by sending a reservation request (if you received a school-specific reservation link through your university, please sign up there directly!).
Students living with Comforts of Italy through our institutional partners will be placed in apartments according to the specific needs of their program, and in most cases will not need to sign up with Comforts of Italy directly. If you are a faculty member or other organizer of a university, study abroad, or study-travel program and would like to learn more about housing your group(s) in our apartments, please contact us.
If you are reserving your housing with us on your own:
1. If you are reserving your housing with us on your own, we'll first send you a price quote based on your housing dates and preferences. We'll ask you for a little more information about yourself to help us in the housing process and will send you an email explaining how to make your first payment through our online portal. Once you make your first payment, your reservation will be confirmed! We'll send you your apartment assignments and apartment-mate contacts approximately two weeks before check-in.
2. When you arrive, you'll come to Comforts of Italy's office for a brief orientation where we'll give you your keys and apartment entrance information. Then you'll be off to your new home in Florence!
WANT TO KNOW WHAT TO PACK WHEN YOU COME TO FLORENCE?
As part of the communal living experience, Comforts of Italy shares resident contact information with each resident's future apartment-mates when communicating housing assignments, giving them a chance to be in contact with their future roommate(s).
Students living with Comforts of Italy through one of our exclusive university or study abroad partners will be assigned to their apartments based on the criteria communicated to us by their institution.
When you arrive in Florence.
We will welcome you in our office where you will pick up your keys and the information you'll need to get into your apartment, and will benefit from a quick housing orientation. You'll sign some paperwork and be on your way to your new home! For students living with us through their university or study abroad program, this check-in process and orientation may take place at your program center.
When you get to your apartment, you'll find everything you need: a freshly made bed, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi. You won't have to open any utilities contracts or worry about buying any furnishings. All that's left is to go out and start exploring Florence!
