Cancellation Policy

When cancelling, students must notify Comforts Of Italy in writing. Because Comforts Of Italy commits to its vendors upon the student's application to the program, certain of our costs are non-refundable. In the event that the student withdraws from host study abroad program for unanticipated academic, family, or health reasons, certain costs are refundable:

• Up until 61 days prior to the official Comforts Of Italy check-in date, pre-paid rents, supplemental charges, and security deposits are refundable. Billing administrative fees are not refundable.
• 60-31 days prior to the official Comforts Of Italy check-in date, security deposits are refundable, but not pre-paid rents, supplemental charges (such as Preferred Location / Services Package fees), or billing administration fees.
• Withdrawal 30 days or less before the official Comforts Of Italy check-in date: at this late withdrawal period, all fees will have been fully committed, and no refunds are possible (including that of the security deposit, which will be used to cover a portion of the student's rent). Refunds are also not possible in the case of early departure.

In the event that certain fees have not been paid, we may substitute those that have been in their place for the purpose of accounting for refunds.

Residents who withdraw from their housing must inform Comforts Of Italy in writing.

Please note:
If you are a full-year student and leave Comforts Of Italy housing after your first semester, you must inform Comforts Of Italy in writing by November 1, 2019 to receive a full refund on your second semester housing.
